4 sages were each given domain over a Cardina in order to fulfill a prophecy...

the first was given domain to control the whims of this verse…

they wrought the primordial spires in order to create a grand basis for the others…

the second gave life to the world and, in turn, a purpose to the sages…

they sought an answer, and saw it as Life…

the third gave power to the world to ensure that it would not only endure, but also retaliate…

for they sought a weapon to smite an evil foe, and foresaw that weapon in Life…

the fourth, unable to give anything, created the stars and promised to watch over the world…

for they cherished their friends’ creations and sought to protect it from The Everend…
