in the year 44xx, the cyclical ender, THE EVEREND, nearly succeeded in reducing the world to NIL

thwarted by a mortal witch, the everend's attempt at NIHILIFICATION instead led to the shattering of ours, and many other's, worlds as we knew it.

life, resilient as it is, endured.
